Therese Marzouk · Speaker · Workforce Strategist

I'm a keynote speaker, workforce development trainer, and writer. For more than 15 years, I've worked with leaders, teams, and women navigating the seasons that don't fit on a project plan — restructuring, burnout, grief, the slow kind of change and the kind that arrives by phone call.
What I've learned is that most people don't need another framework. They need someone to stand next to them while they figure out what's next. That's what I do from the stage. That's what I do in the room afterward. That's what the work is.
“I can't do this for you. But I will be here with you while you walk through it.”
Fifteen years in workforce development taught me what people say in training rooms when the leadership team leaves. The rest of it came from being a person in the world. I don't separate the two on stage, and I don't separate them here.
Science nerd. Word nerd. Former owner of Word Knives. Still has a birthday card about avocados on her desk.
Work With ThereseMoving forward before you feel ready — because waiting to feel ready is how years go by.
Staying present in the discomfort without making the discomfort the whole personality.
The difference between sitting with it and being stuck in it — and why the second one is so much easier to mistake for the first.
Pivoting — not as a buzzword, but as a real decision people have to make while the rest of their life is still happening.
A few things I won’t do on your stage.
